Individual letters from 'A-Z' including '&' available as an open Edition Gicleé* print. The prints are signed in the bottom right hand corner as part of the edition.
The background images are collaged postal envelopes and ephemera collected over a span of more than 30 years. These collages are then scanned and worked over with digital letterforms and ink marks. The images are then printed out as Giclée fine art prints. (The inside pattern printing of envelopes was introduces in the early 20th Century as a 'security tinting' to prevent the contents being seen through the envelope.)
Please note that unframed artworks will be posted in flat packed enveloped.
Framed Artwork:
Framed artworks will be shipped in a sturdy box. The glass will be plexiglass. The artwork will sit under a mount within the frame using PH Neutral board which will not discolour the print. Please choose from a white or black frame. White framed artwork will have a pink inlay fillet (spacer between glass and artwork). See images for reference. Frame exterior size is 320x420mm. Orders shipped internationally may be subject to additional charges, including customs fees and import duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient. *Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a high-quality printing process used to produce fine art reproductions. It utilises specialised inkjet printers with pigment-based inks and archival-quality paper to create prints with exceptional detail, colour accuracy, and longevity. The term, derived from the French word "gicler" (to squirt or spray), reflects the way the printer applies the ink.
